Rosemary: in 1997 while eating lunch at the Banana Belt Cafe we admired one of your paintings ~ That led to a visit to your home ~ getting to meet you ~ AND purchasing one of your Paintings Right Off your Living Room Wall...  Thanks   We still love that painting.  Later We agreed to hang and display several of your paintings "FOR SALE" along our stairwell where our B&B guests admired them enroute to the breakfast room  ~  More of your watercolors were bought up by our Guests and have gone all over the world...  When we sold out we came back for more or would bring our guests over to your home to look through your many watercolour paintings   ~  You painted, &  framed ~ we displayed them ~ they sold out...  

I purchased two of your Mount Washington Chalet  Paintings. You had been on a course offered by Robert Bateman up at  Mt Washington  ~  when he strolled by and looked at your painting ~ his comment was   "Your painting is better than mine" !   So you were admired by the Experts  too ~ those with intimate knowledge of a Great Painting!    Well you eventually ran out of framed paintings about the time I saw an ad in Monday Magazine.  Folks were interested in raising funds for The Emily Carr Statue...  You had portrayed Emily Carr with Woo on the Old Cemetery Tour of Emily's Grave.  

Five of your paintings Sold at the Empress Fundraiser and 100% of your painting sales went directly to the Emily Carr Statue Fund  ~  Thanks Rosemary for your generosity in Sharing Your Wonderful Artistic Talents and the Gift of your Watercolor Paintings. ~   At your Celebration of Life Friends spoke of their heartfelt emotions after receiving a Birthday Painting of personal interest to them; A Very Personal Gift from you !  One man even brought his Gift Painting to share the story ~  The resurrection of one of the statutes damaged by Vandals...  You're a Great and Generous  Lady Rosemary.   Ahead of your time in the nursing field ~ you fought to provide health education for young women in school !  We love you and miss you and know we will reconnect ~ Much Love Bonnie Hardy
