I carry you on my shoulder, your wisdom and spirit, whenever I'm hiking in the forest or mountains. We had many great escapes and adventures in Lynn Canyon - always on the hunt for interesting slices of nature, especially in the late spring when we would search for ghost plants. I still feel that tinge of excitement when I find a cluster - like finding the elusive pot of gold! The many cat rocks you created are proudly display in my garden - they are a small legacy to your wonderful artistic vision - it was as though the cat was hidden in the rock waiting for you to paint it out. I miss those times together and cherish those memories everyday. Love you very much and miss you - your little sister ...

Hello Doug, Jess & Brittany 

I have been attending my 9 year old  neighbour boy’s baseball games this Spring whose team is somewhat less than organized with very little parental support. One game, a teammate had a minor injury involving a small cut and a small flow of blood which caused a major kerfuffle as no one seemed to have a first aid kit. I sat in the stands thinking that this would never have happened with Sharron     around. 🙂

There is not a day that has passed that I don't think of you - something triggers a memory and I think - what would she have said or done?  Or something that you and I would share a private laugh about😃 
You always had my best interest at heart and I am eternally grateful for that.  
I know you will chuckle when you read the next entry ...
I have found the most wonderful, secret blackberry patch - it is waiting for us.  I know you will be looking over my shoulder so I won't miss any of the best berries - hopefully there will not be a hornets nest this time!

Hello Doug, Jess and Brittany,

Doug and I coached girls softball for many years of which Jess was on the team amongst many of the cool girls of Lynn Valley School. Becca, Jayme, Ashley, Stephanie, Carly, Lauren, as well as Alannah who came from some other school. Sharron, with Brittany in tow came to every game equipped with first aid kit, water, juice and every other thing a well prepared mom packed away for a team of young girls / woman. Thank Sharron.
