Shelley Lynn Tchir

Shelley Lynn Tchir-Krieger was born March 12th, 1967, to Doreen & Bill Tchir in Vancouver, BC. On the evening of April 19th at the age of 58, Shelley passed away suddenly due to health complications from her Multiple Sclerosis.

She left behind her husband, Kurt Krieger of 8 years of marriage. Also, she leaves behind her brother Barry (Margot) and her three nieces, Samantha (Martin), Amanda (Cade) and Kassandra (Michael) along with best friends in life Trish and Drew Toth. They will all miss her at the family dinner table.....

Shelley grew up with a love of Ukrainian dance and girl guiding which she brought along to her work as an adult in childcare for the YMCA. Shelley loved travel and doing many kinds of crafts and needle work, inherited from her mom. She enjoyed working with her nieces on different projects including Ukrainian easter eggs or making perogies for our family meals. She visited Hawaii several times with her mom and nieces to take in the sights and explore the beaches.

In everything she did she was happiest to be with friends and family, her last year was spent at Dogwood Care Home lunching with her dad, Bill, spending time with Kurt and friends while making new friends on her regular swimming or shopping adventures.

Shelley battled her MS with a strength and resilience that was admirable, and her smile and positive attitude will be missed by all who knew her.
