Sirget Kaur McCaw

Sirget Kaur Mcaw, beloved Mother, Sister, Aunt and Grandmother passed away peacefully Oct 20 2026 at Crofton Manor in Vancouver.

She was born to parents Beer Singh Sunga and Chanan Kaur Sunga in Duncan BC.

She is survived by her children Nancy Sherman(Lawrie), Ranjit Badall(Yvette), beloved sister Geena, grandchildren Jason, Monica and Steven, 3 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Bawa Singh Badall and 2nd husband Ronald McCaw. She was also predeceased by her siblings Preetom, Swarn, brother Hardail, sister Hardail, Harbhey, and Reg.

She worked as a Postal worker at the main Vancouver Post Office for over 45 years, her manager called her the hardest working postal worker when she attended many Retired Employee lunches. She enjoyed going on bus vacations many times with the Retired Employees group with her husband Ron. They also enjoyed their many trips to Wendover, Reno and Las Vegas.

She excelled at many hobbies including sewing, knitting, crocheting, fantastic gardener, fantastic at cooking and baking.

Over the years she had many Pomeranian dogs that she loved dearly.

There will be no service. She will have a niche at Ocean View Cemetery in Burnaby if you would like to visit.

She will be missed by many.
