Laura and family,
My deepest condolences to you Laura and your family.  I remember both your Mom and Dad and know what kind, loving parents they were.  I have many fond memories of our friendship and the generosity of your father, Victor.  My thoughts are with you.

Steven,Barry, Laura, Julie and all extended family members; so sorry for your loss! Another chapter in the great Thorson  legacy comes to a close. I will always remember the great times @ Vaseux Lake, the Thorson Christmas parties and the pool parties that Uncle Vic & Auntie Muriel hosted.

Uncle Vic was the last surviving member, and represents the passing, of an entire generation of my parent's brothers & sisters and their spouses.  Uncle Vic exemplified that generation of hardship, hard work, entrepreneurial spirit and success in life.  Aunt Muriel's family loved and respected him, which I could easily tell in conversation with my Dad and Grandma Sanders.  Not only did Vic do large projects, in the 1950's he also did the structural engineering on a house my Dad was building for my mother, Yvonne.  We give thanks for Uncle Vic's life, he made a huge contribution to this world.
