He was preceded in death by his mother, Della Oswalt and father, Robert Oswalt.
Survivors include his companion of 30 years, Wendy Thigpen; daughters, Felesha Smiley of Northport, Julle Oswalt of Fayette, Jessica Bonner of Berry; brother, Michael Oswalt (Christy); Sister, Robbie Hallman (Derek), 15 grandchildren, 2 great- grandchildren, and his loving dog, Mac.
A visitation for Alvin will be held on Monday, April 14, 2025, at Carroll's Creek Baptist Church at 1:00 PM followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dylan Bonner, Tyler Bonner, Kylan Locke, Evan Smiley, Wesley Oswalt, Derek Hallman.
