Aurora Zafra passed away peacefully in Tuscaloosa on Sunday, December 21, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Aurora Zafra was graced with 91 years of beautiful life, and will definitely be missed.
Aurora Zafra is survived by her two daughters, Zynnia and Heidi, as well as many other close family and friends from Alabama to New Jersey to the Philippines, and abroad.
A Catholic Mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi University Parish (Tuscaloosa) on Friday, January 23, 2026, at 1:30 pm. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 11:00 am at the Gates of Heaven Mausoleum, East Hanover, NJ.
Sunset Funeral Home and Sunset Memorial Park is in charge of final arrangements in Northport, Alabama.
