Betty E Boynton

A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Betty cherished her family above all else. She was known for her gentle love and deep commitment to those close to her heart. Her warm spirit and kind nature left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered. Betty's life was defined by her unwavering devotion to her family, creating a legacy of love that will continue to inspire those that she leaves behind.

Betty is predeceased by her beloved husband, Gene Boynton. Together, they created cherished memories that will forever live on in the hearts of their daughter and grandson. Betty was also predeceased by her parents, Oscar and Martha Edwards, as well as her siblings Irvin Edwards, Milo Edwards, Janice Pace and Zelda Carroll.

Her life is celebrated and remembered by those who survive her: her daughter Leigh Donahue (Larry Van Horn); her precious grandson, Conner Donahue; and sister, Marian (Tom) Givens.

A private memorial service to celebrate Betty's life will be held at a late date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to her favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or ProHealth Hospice.

The family would like to say thank you to all her wonderful caregivers: Korissa Goodwin, LaChasity Wilder, nurse Amber Strickland and everyone at ProHealth Hospice. Thank you to all her sweet neighbors, who frequently called or stopped by to check on her.
