GREENSBORO – Brenda Wilburn Thomas, age 66, of Greensboro, Ala., died May 10, 2017, at Hale County Hospital. Services will be 2:30 p.m. Friday, May 12, 2017, at Sunset Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Colburn officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.She was preceded in death by Lester C. and Gladys Wilburn, Janice Hall, Diane Wilburn and Charlotte Howell.Survivors include her husband, Richard Lee Thomas; daughter, Jessica Lindsey Wade; sister, Sheila Pate (Robert); brother, Lester C. Wilburn, Jr.; and grandchildren, Ashlyn Cheyanne Osborn and Ezabella Grace Adams.Brenda was a 1969 graduate of Tuscaloosa High School. She served in the United State Air Force for two years and later worked in the medical field until retirement. Brenda was a member of Shepherd's Way Christian Church of Northport, Alabama. She is survived by a loving family and host of friends.Pallbearers will be Jimmy Hall, Lance Hall, Dalton Hall, Garek Hall, Frankie Pate and Joel Davis.Honorary pallbearers are members of Shepherd's Way Christian Church
