

Chasity Mechelle Helton, age 21, of Woodstock, died Nov. 13, 2011. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Corinth Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Hill officiating. Burial will follow in Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. The body will lie in state one hour prior to services at the church.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandmothers, Ruth Tilley Lancaster and Minnie Helton; her grandfathers, Chester Freeman Webb and Clyde F. Helton, Sr.; her uncle, Billy Litton; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Survivors include her mother, Wendy Winstead of Woodstock; her father, Clyde F. Helton, Jr. of Centreville; her sisters, Ashley Helton of Woodstock and Crystal Winstead of Tuscaloosa; her brother, Morgan Bright; and her grandparents, Sharon Lancaster of Gordo and Martha Ann Helton of Centreville.
Chasity has touched many hearts with her kind words and beautiful smile. She was loved and cherished by her sisters as were they by her. Being the oldest of three girls, she was more than a daughter – she was a mother's best friend and the best sister a sister could have. She will be missed by her many family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Beau Martin, Dustin Hodo, Terry Robinson, Nathan Barnes, Timmy Crowell, and Jeremey Channell.
Honorary pallbearers are Derek Lancaster and Anthony Webb.
