NORTHPORT | Chester Brewer, age 75, of Northport, died June 14, 2014, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Indian Lake Baptist Church with Rev. Albert Lyles officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be 6 until 8 p.m. this evening at Sunset Funeral Home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Manley and Beulah Brewer.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ernest Brewer; his daughter, Teresa Mills (Gary); his son, Ricky Brewer (Kandie); his sister, Anita Dean (Morris); and his grandchildren, Johnathan Mills, Abigail Brewer, Brayden Brewer, and Emily Grace Brewer.
He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved his Lord with all his heart. He was a friend to all.
Pallbearers will be Gary Lett, J.P. Mabrey, Ed Hysaw, H.F. Tidmore, Mark White, and Billy Parker.
Honorary pallbearers are members of the Indian Lake Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of West Alabama.
