

Eula Bell Phillips: Age 91 of Northport, Alabama passed away on February 28th 2025 at Forest Manor nursing home. Memorial services will be on March 22nd at Northport Church of God with visitation at 1pm and the service at 2pm with Pastor Greg Strickland officiating.
Eula was proceeded in death by her husband Roy C. Phillips, her son Roger C. Phillips, and her parents Fred and Lillie Bell Drew.
She was survived by her daughter Rose (Mike) Mitchell of Tuscaloosa,Al., Grandson Chris (Marianna) Mitchell of Shannon, Ms., Granddaughter Amy (Wesley) Mullenix of Tuscaloosa, Al., Two grandsons John Michael and Tucker Mitchell of Shannon, Ms., Great Granddaughter Kathryne Mullenix (Dakota) of Tuscaloosa, Al., sisters Alice Smalley of Northport, Al., Amelia “Meme” Davis of Virginia Beach, VA., a brother Jimmy (Jane) Drew of Virginia Beach, VA., and countless nieces and nephews.
Eula worked as a mental health aid at Bryce hospital for twenty years before retiring to care for her husband until his passing of cancer. She was a member of Northport Church of God for over fifty years.
She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and sister to all of her family and friends, she had a love for baking whether it was for her pound cakes or cookies or the peanut brittle that she made with the senior ladies of northport church of God. She also loved playing Dominoes with her sister Alice, Ruby Cleary, Lola Talley or any of the senior ladies from church and being named the “Domino girls” and staying out late just to finish a game.
She will forever be loved and missed by all.
