Frank is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Pruitt; his daughters Angie Yates, Bobbie Simmons, Jena Pruitt and Kim Pruitt; his son Noah Gilstrap; his grandchildren Jordan, Ann Marie, Wesley, Megan, Kimmy and Liam; great-grandchildren Dylan and Amalee; his sister Martha Meredith. As well as several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Kimbrough and Gladys Pruitt and his sister, Connie King.
Frank was a life-long resident of Northport, Al. and of Jennings Chapel United Methodist Church. He was a devoted husband, father and friend who put the needs and concerns of others above his own. He attended Crestmont Elementary, Northport Jr. high and Tuscaloosa County High School, where he became the symbol of school spirit: Mr. Wildcat. Throughout his high school and adult years Frank was also known for his beautiful singing voice. Frank was always a gracious host, and all were welcomed at his home whether they came to swim in the creek, to enjoy his mother’s iced tea, or feast on BBQ and watch an Alabama football game.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life gathering on Thursday, June 10th, 1:00 at Jennings Chapel located at 4001 70th Avenue, Northport, AL 35473
