COKER | Frederick O. Gilliland, age 80, of Coker, died April 10, 2015, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, April 13, 2015, at Sunset Funeral Home with Tim Fields officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Sunset Funeral Home, A Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be Sunday night from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Irene Gilliland, and brother-in-law, Eugene Branyon.He is survived by his wife, Bobbie M Gilliland; daughter, Melissa Beams; son, Phillip O. Gilliland (Sharon); sisters, Eddie Lou Tilley (Rex), Bonnie Branyon, and Joanne Ray (Billy); brothers, Wayne Gilliland (Faye), James Gilliland (Martha), and Richard Gilliland (Kathy); and grandchildren, Miranda Harbin (Blake), Justin Beams, and Jessica Beams (Larry).Frederick was a wonderful, loving husband, father, and grandfather. He served as a deacon at Bethany Baptist Church.
