Kathy Ann Allen

She was born in Bonifay, FL, December 17, 1957, to Ruby and Talmadge Pate and lived a life full of love and devotion to her family and her Jesus. She received the baptism of the Holy Ghost as a little girl and served the Lord her whole life. Family was everything to her, often giving anything she had to help someone in need. She and her husband, Rev. George Ronnie Allen founded and pastored First Pentecostal Church of Northport for many years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ruby and Talmadge Pate; brothers, Jimmy, Bobby and Earl, and sister-in-law Brenda, who was really more of a sister than in-law.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Rev. George Ronnie Allen; sons, George (Amy), Marcus (Jennifer) and Scott (Jessica); nephew, Clay that she claimed as her fourth son; brothers, Kenneth (Judy), La’Don (Debbie), Randy; brother-in-law, Ricky; five grandsons: Trey, Clayton, Ryan, Christian and Eli, that were the light of her life, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Kathy will be held Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home followed by a Celebration of Life at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
