He was preceded in death by his parents Joe H. Pate and Louis Coleman Pate.

Ken is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jamel Browning Pate; daughter Traci Pate Bailey (Clark); son Kenneth Browning Pate (Chelisha); grandchildren Katelyn Pate Cornel (Ben), Kara Pate, Trace Bailey, Logan Boyd, and Ryan Justiss; Brother Joe H. Pate, Jr. (Virginia); sisters Charlotte King (Charles), Bonnie Harless (Harry), Missy Evans, Elaine Kennedy (Glenn); and a host of other family members.

The family will receive friends on Monday, November 15, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with the Celebration of Life Service following at 1:00 PM. Interment will take place at Big Creek Cemetery in Coker, AL with Glenn Kennedy and Dennis Avery officiating.

Pallbearers are Jimmy Battle, Thomas Caffee, Tommy Watkins, Jeff Harless, Michael Harless, Julius Pate, Jimmy Robertson, and Dan Smithson

Honorary Pallbearers are Willie Browning, Mike Glover, Morgan Sellers, Clark Bailey, Jason Pate, Kyle Kennedy, Chip Evans, Rock of Ages Sunday School Class, Dr. Salinas, Amedysis Hospice, and a Host of Family and Friends
