NORTHPORT | Kerry Lewis Cox, age 55, of Northport, died March 8, 2015, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at Five Points Baptist Church with Ben Jameson officiating. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. in Forrest Crest Cemetery in Birmingham with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 10, 2015, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the church.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dickey and Robbie Martin and grandmother, Lorene Marlow Lee.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Lou Cox; daughter, Destiny Pearson; sons, Russell Cox, Jason Cox, Kerry Cox II, Shavon Terry and Will Anderson; sisters, Lori Dennis and Robin Dyer; brother, Dickey Cox; and parents, Bill and Judy Gallops.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Eagles’ Wings.
