NORTHPORT | Mattie Woolbright, age 88, of Northport, died January 2, 2016, at Hospice of West Alabama. Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2016, at Sunset Funeral Home with Bro. Tony Lathem officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Woolbright, Sr.; parents; three brothers; daughter; and son-in-law.Survivors include her daughter, Linda Allen (Max); sons, Sonny Bailey (Mary) and James Woolbright, Jr. (Rose); sister, Jean Spiller; grandchildren, Anita Jones (Tommy), Scott Woolbright (Crystal), Misty Dockery (D.J.), Cindy Clark (Michael), Leigh Snider (Larry), Kelli Hobson (Keith); step-grandchildren, Shawn Clark and Shannon Clark; and numerous great-grandchildren.Mattie loved and enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved crafting and ceramics, fishing, watching Alabama football and her little dog, "Wooly."Pallbearers will be Scott Woolbright, D.J. Dockery, Justin Jones, Joshua Jones, Wayne Sullivan, Danny Lancaster, Ronnie Hatfield and Shawn Clark.Honorary pallbearers are Teresa Stone, Hospice of West Alabama and neighbors of 5th Street Northport.
