

NORTHPORT – Michael Edward ""Mike"" Stiteler, age 49, of Northport, died April 18, 2016, at home. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 23, 2016, at Northport Church of God with Rev. Paul Champion and Rev. Greg Strickland officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be Friday, April 22, 2016, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the church.
Survivors include his wife, Wendy Burroughs Stiteler; daughter, Breanna Marlene Stiteler (Allen Bridgeman); son, Blake Michael Stiteler (Hailey Condra); sisters, Angie Dubose (Jimmy) and Kim Tumblin (Chad); sister-in-law, Vicky Champion (Paul); parents, Susan and Ed Tatro and Mike and Barbara Stiteler; mother-in-law, Julie Burroughs; grandson, Drake Michael Stiteler; nephews, Hunter Champion (Bethany), Zack Williamson and Spencer Tumblin; and nieces, Kelsey Williamson and Liberty.
Mike was a loving husband, dad, son, brother and Pap. He was a well-known grill master and hunter. He will be remembered for the many years he coached baseball.
Pallbearers will be Mike Casner, Charlie Cook, Tim Fulmer, Randall Phares, Bobby Miller, Jeff Sullivan, John Hagler, Chris Burnett and Daryl Barnett.
