Surrounded by family in his final moments, he will be remembered by his immense humor and wisdom, and the joy he brought to those around him.
Michael had a deep passion for music, often playing guitars and riding solace in the open road on his Harley-Davidson motorcycles. He also cherished time spent with his beloved pets, whose companionship brought him great happiness. His unwavering spirit will forever be remembered.
Michael is preceded in death by their son, John Bradley Thrasher; father, Marlin E. Thrasher and mother, Vilera Thrasher (Brown); brothers, Marlin Edward Thrasher, E. Gene Thrasher; sister, Maureen Marcks.
He is survived by his loving wife, Renae; brothers, W. Boyd Thrasher, Terry Thrasher (Petra); sisters, Jerrie Bell and Bonnie Lindsey. As mentioned before, Mike's love for music lasted until his last breath. It was this song that seemed to connect us to our life the last few weeks. "I got a room at the top of the world tonight, and I ain't comin' down, no, I ain't comin' down." (Room At The Top by Tom Petty and The Heart-Breakers)
