Nina Dean Sullivan Malone

Nina Dean Sullivan Malone, age 85 of Northport, passed peacefully into the arms of her Heavenly Father on August 21, 2018. Tuesday afternoon, God looked down and said “Well done, good and faithful servant. It’s time to come home.”

Services will be 3:00pm, Friday, August 24 at Tabernacle Freewill Baptist Church with Rev Jerry Montgomery officiating and Sunset Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Thursday, August 23 from 6-8 at Sunset Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Clifton Malone; father, Moyer Sullivan; mother, Josie Sullivan; and brothers, Choice and Nolan Sullivan.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Doug and Elizabeth Rodenberry; grandchildren, Brad and Casey Rodenberry, Krista and Josh Collins, and Brooke Rodenberry; great-grandchildren, Courtney Collins, Cayd Collins, Sawyer Rodenberry and Carlie Collins; sister-in-law, Odessa Sullivan; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Great-nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Honorary pallbearers are Gordon Galbreath and family, Marion Burkhalter, Gay Dunlap, Tabernacle church family, Unity Baptist church family, caregivers and friends of Heritage Health Care, and friends of the Gordo community.
