

Rachel Evans Glover was born May 29, 1950 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Her parents, both deceased, were Marvin and Olea "Polly" Evans. She past away February 24, 2023 at Hospice of West Alabama in Tuscaloosa after a brave fight with pancreatic cancer. She is preceded in death by her 3 brothers Dee Evans, Neal Evans, and Willie Dale Evans and sister Angeline Wheat. She is survived by her sister Sue Franklin and many nieces and nephews from all of her siblings. She is also survived by her 3 children Chris Wilson, Gena "Deedee" Clark, and Calyssa Black. She has many grandchildren; Kaitlyn, Devan, Abi, Brayden, Nathan, and Ryleigh, and her great-grand children Kamari and Ja'karye. She also is survived by many others who knew her as Momma, including son-in-laws Shawn Clark and Ryan Black, and son-in-love Scotty Snow.
Rachel will be remembered for her outgoing personality, love for all people and a great story, and her kind spirit.
Her visitation will take place at Sunset Memorial in Northport AL on March 11, 2023 at 1 pm with services at 2 pm and her family requests everyone dress casually and as Rachel put it "celebrate and dance". According to her wishes her remains will be placed at Evanstown Cemetery in Berry Alabama. In lieu of flowers a monetary gift may be given in Rachel's name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Hospice of West Alabama.
