Violet S. Pearson

Violet Sutton Pearson, age 90, of Northport, died Aug. 18, 2010, at Forest Manor Nursing Home. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. today at Williamson Cemetery with Dr. John Nixon officiating and Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Beatty Pearson; her brothers, Victor and Preston Sutton; and her sister, Ruth Hutchins.

Survivors include her daughter, Jean Ballard (David); her son, Richard Pearson (Marilyn); and her brother, J.C. Sutton, Jr.

Our appreciation goes to Dr. George Miller, associates, nurses, and staff of Tuscaloosa Internal Medicine, nurses and certified nurses assistants and staff of Forest Manor Nursing Home, especially Station III, members of the Northport Baptist Church Trailblazers, members of the Northport First United Methodist Church Caring Committee, members of Wesley Chapel Methodist Church, Hospice of West Alabama, and all our friends and family who visited.
