Wayne Smalley

BERRY - Wayne Smalley, age 76, of Berry, Ala., passed away February 12, 2018, at his residence. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, February 15, 2018, at New Hope Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 14, 2018, at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Burry Smalley and Audrey Smalley; and brothers, Douglas Smalley and Sercy Smalley.

Survivors include wife, Sidna Faye Strickland Smalley; daughter, Aprille Lynn Smalley; sons, Darrell Smalley and Brent Smalley; brothers, Harold Smalley, Ayden Smalley (Lynda), Jimmy (Charelen), Bruce Smalley and Steve Smalley; and grandchildren, Adam Smalley, Brianne Ives, Russell Smalley, Jennifer Smalley, Dalton Smalley and Hannah Rae Ard.

Daddy was an outstanding father and role model, outstanding mason and active reacting SOCV Seddons Battery member.

Pallbearers will be the Masonic Lodge North Alabama.

Honorary pallbearers are his grandchildren, Tuscaloosa Hospice Care, caregiver, Brad Snow, Jesse Parrish, special friends and family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Gideons International for Bibles.
