I was saddened to hear of the loss of your dear wife and my dear old friend. 
Although we were miles and worlds apart, I felt a closeness to Lorraine that will always be deep in my heart.
She was a very strong woman.  She was a caring, loving mother to her boys, a supportive, nurturing stepmother and a true, loyal friend . 
I will cherish the many visits the two of us had.  
She will remain in my memory and heart forever.

Lorraine came to work for us many years ago.. she was a hard worker who beacame a  very good friend to myself and her coworkers.  She was always making people laugh with her short little one liners. She always took her job and her friendships very seriously and would always do everything in her power to keep these bonds strong .. even if things weren't going well for her, she still thought of others first.  When she told me she was going to Vegas  to meet Charlie for the first time  I tried talking her out of it. She said "Don't worry it will be ok!". I guess  I was worried I might lose her.  Well that could have not been at all the case .. as she fell in love with the love of her life... and we were soon attending their wedding in California. Lorraine looked absolutely stunning and so happy  and you could tell that her and Charlie were  going to have the happiest  life together.  We visited a couple time in California and every time we were treated like gold by the Mayrsohns. Lorraine and I also kept up with telephone calls which usually consisted of me grabbing the cordless phone so I could clean at the same time because our conversations usually lasted a few hours! Lorraine touched many lives and will continue to with all her memories that she has left us with. I know I am missing her like crazy already  but know she is looking down at  me me and telling me "don't worry it will be ok!"

I will forever miss my true friend. I miss our phone calls, laughter and just hanging out together. We laughed and cried together. We shared stories, hopes and dreams.  I was truly shocked about her passing and will always have a special place in my heart for her.  Rest In Peace Lorraine, I will see you one day again in heaven.

Aunty Lorraine you were such a wonderful happy person I always looked forward to seeing you and had hoped to one day come out and visit again. I will miss your smile and your hugs but most of all I will miss your heart. Some day we will meet again. Until then I will always carry you with me in my heart.

I worked with Lorraine at Mission Hospice. She always had a smile on her face. She had a warm heart and made me laugh. After I left we kept in touch. She was a beautiful kind lady. She will always be in my heart. My prayers to the family. God Bless

Lorraine and I were friends from the early 80's , I remember hanging out at her Mothers truck stop restaurant in Neepawa we weathered the growing pains of young adults trying to negotiate our way , I always will be grateful for Lorraine's upbeat motivational attitude . We stayed in touch over the years and was shocked to hear of her passing it seems such a cruel twist of fate now that the love and devotion of Charlie had finally completed her life . RIP my dear friend .

You were an angel on earth and now you are an angel in heaven. I feel so stunned and have a hard time getting my head and heart around your absence. I hope for your loved ones to heal and not suffer too much or too long. Until we meet again my dear friend.

Lorraine was a dear friend. We had so much fun and laughter together and of course tears. We shared a Bible study together and I believe that Lorraine will be with us when we meet again in heaven. Hi I worked with Lorraine I really miss her rest in heaven my friend.

When I think of Lorraine, I think back to our childhood days of spending time together at our Grandma and Grandpa's farm. Many good memories. She was always the positive one.  She will be missed!

Lorraine was hands down, the best mother-in-law a girl could dream of having. We called her Grandma/Mama Sunshine, and not just because she lived in sunny California, although that's how it started. She had a smile and laugh that could light up a room. I connected with her the first time we met and knew she would be someone I would cherish forever. The love and acceptance she showed myself and my son was unparalleled. When Eric and I had children together, she was so thrilled.  Lorraine made sure to be here shortly after they were born to meet her new grand babies and dote on them! They loved their grandma Sunshine so much and loved chatting with her over the phone and spending time with her when she came to Manitoba for visits.  Our ladies only shopping trips were so much fun! She was truly such a loving soul and our hearts are broken at the thought that we will never sit together, with the guitar strumming and the conversation and jokes flowing, again. We got to spend some real quality time with Charlie and it was easy to see why she loved him and California so much. I've never met a couple more in love and in tune with one another. My deepest condolences to her family and especially her sweet Charlie. She will be forever missed, but the bittersweet memories will remain just the same! We love you Mama/Grandma Sunshine. Lorraine was a wonderful sister in law, she always was a caring person. She put other people before herself. She was a loving wife to Charlie. She was a part of our family and will always be in our thoughts and prayers. She will be missed.

Mom was a one true constant in my life. She was always there to listen, advocate and protect. Mom always found a way to help others even when struggling with her own problems. I wish that her grandchildren could of had more time to know Grandma Sunshine. Also I would like to Thank Charlie and his family for supporting me and my family during the struggles of losing a mother, freind and Grandma.

My niece Lorraine was a genuine caregiver and somewhat of a worrier. She always cared deeply and worried about others in her circle of family and friends. I was so saddened to receive the news that she had left us. I will miss her texts, phone calls, and especially miss seeing her in Manitoba occasionally when we ended up going there to visit family and friends. My deepest condolences to her husband and her family. It is still difficult for me to believe she is gone. I will never forget her.

Lorraine and I worked together in Russell, Mb, Canada. She was such a great co-worker, and friend. We shared many laughs during work and together outside of work. I will never forget her laugh and smile. When she met Charlie, she was instantly head over heels. I was sad to find out she was moving so very far away but was so happy she found the love of her life. We grew apart when she moved but I never forgot her. I loved and missed her dearly every day. Now that she's gone, I miss her even more

Lorraine was such a positive person and worked hard to bring that positivity to every asepct of her life.  Always very thoughtful and understanding, she was a bright light for many.  We are so sad that her future was taken from her so soon, but her memory provides some comfort for all and will continue to illuminate the hearts of those who knew her.

Words cannot express the sadness that I feel after losing the only true love of my life, my precious wife Lorraine. Lorraine, you are my whole world. I love you so much. I still cannot believe that you are gone. You are and always will be my "Baby". All of those communication barriers have gone and I can understand you and hear you perfectly. I can hear your thoughts but I don't judge them or you. I was so shocked to hear of Lorraine's passing, she has been a longtime friend since the early 90's. she came into my life shortly after the passing of my mother, it was then we became very close, our children grew up together. A lot of great times will be remembered. I pray her soul is at peace, lots of love❤

Lorraine, learning about your leaving us so suddenly left us in shock. I was overwhelmed with the cascade of many sweet memories we had shared together. You were a part of us as the stylish, creative and devoted nurse to both my twins and a vibrant, loving soul we loved and cherished.The ups and downs of life that we shared and talked about,shed tears together and I was looking forward to inviting you for my son's graduation get-together as it had been some time since we had connected and ..

We were so shocked and saddened to hear of the sudden passing of our cousin Lorraine.  She was a great person, who we could tell loved our cousin Charlie very much and made him so very happy.  She was hard working at whatever she did, whether it be restaurant work or especially of late her work as an LVN.

Lorraine, It broke my heart to hear the news today that you are no longer physically with us in this day-to-day world we live in, but I KNOW that your spirit will always be with me! You were always such a good friend, with a warm heart for your family, your friends, and all your many patients. I will never forget the time you spent devoting yourself to my good friend Sue Bennett in her final days, making her life comfortable, and understanding what she was going through. You also gave her family so much security and assurance that their daughter was in the best of care. Priceless! And that's what you are to me...my priceless friend forever. We had so many good laughs together, and shared so many great conversations about your love for all your family, and how much you never stopped caring about every single one of them.
