Margaret Yaldezian

Maggie was born in Whitinsville, Massachusetts on December 5, 1929 to Apkar and Helen Avikian. Maggie was the oldest of three children. Toros was born in 1931 and Luceen(Lopopolo) in 1933.

The three of them were very close and loved to tell stories of their childhood. Margaret’s family moved to Fresno in 1947. It was there that she met Chris and they were married in 1956. They lived a beautiful and full life together.

Maggie loved meeting new people, delicious food, a great party and most of all her friends and family.

She is survived by her sister Luceen Lopopolo, her children John and Lisa Yaldezian, Marceen and Alan Farsakian, and Paul and Jil Yaldezian, seven grandchildren, Nickolas, Shant, Allie, Micah, Matthew, Maggie and Jacob. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and life-long friends.

Funeral services will take place on Thursday, June 8 at 11:00 AM at St. Peter Armenian Apostolic Church in Van Nuys.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Peter Church or to your favorite charity.
