training. Bianca was born December 3rd, 1991 in Norwalk from Robert M. Rodriguez
Sr. and Enid Rivera. She is survived by her parents, and by her siblings Christina
Goyette, Robert M Rodriguez J.R., Abigail Torres, Sammi Torres, and Kayshlee
Rodriguez. In addition, the love of her life and fiancé, Jozsef G. Torres, as well as her
pride and joy Gunner.
After graduating from Montville high school in 2010, she wasted no time in pursuing a
career and making a name for herself. She began General Studies at Three Rivers
Community College. During her studies, the topic of anatomy spiked an interest so
she obtained a 6 month CNA certification at Quinnipiac University. It didn’t take her
long after volunteering for nursing homes, that CNA was “not the right fit”. She
decided to change career paths and pursue becoming a surgical technician at
Manchester Community College where she became a full time student. She would
work full time during the day and study all night, doing everything possible to
accomplish her goals.
After becoming a surgical technician at Manchester Memorial Hospital full time she
would try and absorb all she could while being the right hand to surgeons, truly
invested and interested in her work. Bianca wanted to continue to help people and
also get out and experience the world and all life had to offer. She successfully
managed to accomplish this dream by volunteering for Atlantic Humanitarian Relief
and traveled to Ecuador and Jordan to help in any way she could. She loved meeting
new people, and with her bubbly personality and love of mixed drinks she decided to
pick up a bartending license. She was a class act that provided service with a smile
and a hint of sas. She worked at a variety of different bars and pubs, her final being
Harp N Dragon. Day to day Bianca would go from helping heal her patients, to sharing
laughs with customers in the most selfless manner. Always putting her all into
everything.
Her most recent accolade was landing a contract with Medical Solutions to be a travel
Surgical Technician. She just finished a 3 month contract at Yale New Haven, with Tuft
Medical Center of Boston to follow in September 2021 and completed 1 week of that
orientation.
She’s a passion eater, metal head, film dreamer, paw kisser, diamond, fighter, giver,
healer, cousin, niece, granddaughter, sister, pit mother, lover, and a fearlessly loving
daughter.
Bianca was someone who made an entire room shimmer with good vibes and honest
intentions. She singled you out with every conversation in understanding your validity
in a split of a millisecond , point out your flaws from her view and everyone else’s angle of views as much as her own, without hurting your feelings . Every piece of who she was a gift and a powerful angel offering life as we know it to be. She found that when life gave her an option she can work with, she made the opportunity end up on a platter of gold and diamonds. She didn’t give life a second to give her less of an option when it came to what she wanted to do.
