She was born in Buffalo, NY on Aug, 1, 1959 to Elbert and Virginia Ann (Urban) Holley. Carolyn lived in Lebanon with her mother and attended local schools.
Carolyn was very active in the Special Olympics and medaled in skiing, downhill and cross country, swimming and bowling. She enjoyed shopping at Wal-Mart and loved spending time with her mother. She was active with A.R.C. of New London County and just loved life. She also worked for 15 years at Foxwoods assisting in the dining hall.
She is survived by her mother and was predeceased by her father.
There are no calling hours. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, March 1st at 11am at the Church & Allen Funeral Home, 136 Sachem St., Norwich, CT. Burial is private at the convenience of the family.
Donations in her memory may be made to the CT Special Olympics of the ARC of New London County.
