David was a graduate of Norwich Free Academy and went on to be a welder for Electric Boat.
He is survived by his father Paul Lunt of Norwich, a son David Lunt Jr. and his wife Amanda of Franklin, a daughter Jessica Lunt and her partner Odir Pontes of Norwich, and a brother Edward Lunt and his wife Mary Ellen of Norwich. He also leaves behind grandchildren Adriana, Hazel, Anthony, Malichi, David and Abigail, as well as great grandchildren Josiah, Yadiel, and Caleb.
There will be a Remembrance of Life Celebration on Sunday May 29th, 2016 @ 1:00 pm at 141 Dunham Street Norwich, the home Jessica Lunt and Odir Pontes. In lieu of flowers donations of Garfield books may be maybe to your local school or library as Garfield the Cat was a favorite of Mr. Lunt.
