Donna Mae O'Neill

Donna was born July 7, 1947 in Putnam, CT, the daughter of Ethelyn (Hutchins) Lambert and the late Herbert Lambert.

She was a graduate of Norwich Free Academy and Norwich Commercial College.

She married John J. O’Neill December 17, 1976 in Norwich. He survives her.

She had worked as the Secretary to the Assistant Dean at UCONN Storrs and to the Business Manager at UCONN Avery Point.

She was a devoted wife and mother and her family was most important to her. In addition to her husband John, she is survived by her mother Ethelyn, son Devin of Norwich, sisters Debi Nelson of Chatham, NJ and Denise Chambers of Fairfield CT, and by 8 nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her brother Herbert and two children Katie Elizabeth and Sean Patrick.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, 181 Elizabeth St. in Norwich, on Thursday at 11 am. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
