Norwich-Eleanor Dubicki 3/27/1921-1/1/2018- Born in Nalibolki, Poland. Daughter of the late Justin and Anna Byczkiewicz. She was married to Chester Dubicki on July 16, 1941. She came to the United States with her family in 1949 after World War II.
She was an accomplished seamstress and worked for the former Majestic Pants Factory and the John Meyer Company. She retired in 1983. After retiring she enjoyed working in her garden and cultivating the flowers that show cased her home. She also continued to enjoy sewing many of her own custom tailored clothing. As a devote Catholic she was a long time member of St. Joseph’s Church and the Women’s Rosary Society.
She is predeceased by her husband Chester and a daughter Irene Lynch and son-in-law William Lynch. Also by her brother Joseph Byczkiewicz of Yantic and her sisters Helen Chmara and Mary Szalczyk of N.J. She is survived by her son John Dubicki and his wife Annette of Norwich. She is also survived by her grandchildren Robert Lynch and wife Alyssa of Manchester, Patrick Lynch and wife Lauren of North Carolina, Kristin Dishaw and husband Marc of Old Lyme, Katie Black and husband Anthony of Norwich and Jennifer Dubicki and great grandchildren Ryan and Brendon Lynch and Kylie and Prestin Dishaw.

We would also like to give our sincere thanks to the Norwichtown Rehabilitation and Care Center staff and The Center for Hospice Care for the wonderful care they have given to Eleanor while she was a patient there.
