Uncasville-Ethel V. Cranford, age 88, passed away at Norwichtown Rehabilitation Center on January 27, 2012. She was born in Norwich on August 12, 1923 to the late Whitney and Bertha (Brumme) Vergason.
She is survived by a son Jeffrey Sanders and his wife Keiko of Honolulu, Hi., a son Russell Sanders and his wife Trisha of Satsuma, Fl., a son Mark Sanders and his wife Linda of Uncasville, a daughter Sharon Chandler and her husband Butch of Suffolk, Va., a sister Ruth Bailiff of Norwich, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She is predeceased by a brother Daniel Vergason.
