Frank D. Rizzuto

Preston-Frank D. Rizzuto, age 89, of Preston passed away on November 20, 2015 at William W. Backus in Norwich. He was born in Norwich on June 15, 1926 to the late Sam and Selvadia (Falcone) Rizzuto. He married Kathleen M. (Wareing) Rizzuto on September 28, 1946.

Frank was a retired State Inspector for the Department of Transportation.

Besides his loving wife Frank is survived by a son Donald Rizzuto of Preston, a daughter Anne Bennett and her husband Gilbert of Florida, and a sister Louise Carty of Norwich. He also leaves behind his grandchildren Todd Rizzuto, Dawn Walden and her husband Art, and Scott Bennett, great grandchildren Kayla Rizzuto, Benjamin Rizzuto and Leyah Walden. He is predeceased by five brothers, four sisters and a granddaughter in law Annie Rizzuto.

Family and friends may visit Labenski Funeral Home, 107 Boswell Ave., Norwich on Monday from 9:00 to 10:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 at St. Mary Church in Greenville.
