Born in Lebanon, she was the daughter of George & Nellie Dzialo and four brothers and two sisters, all of whom predeceased her. She was also predeceased by her husband, William Yurchyk.
Helen retired as a supervisor at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in East Hartford. She enjoyed Polish food, polka music, and dancing with friends and acquaintances.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia DiFrancesca (Joseph) of Old Saybrook. She was a grandmother to Tricia Maynard (Mark) of Lisbon, Dr. Michael DiFrancesca (Lorin) of Pennsylvania, and Dr. Joseph DiFrancesca (Karen) of Lebanon, and a great-grandmother to Chelsea, Kayla, Leah, Madison, Nathan and Daniel.
The family would like to extend its thanks to the compassionate caregivers at Apple Rehab and Healthcare in Colchester for the exceptional care they took of Helen.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at 11am at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 67 W. Town St., Lebanon, CT with procession following to St. Joseph Cemetery, 815 Boswell Ave., Norwich, CT. There are no calling hours.
