James F. Falcone Jr.

Falcone- James F. Falcone Jr. of Mystic died Sunday June 16, 2013 at his home. He was born in Norwich son of the late James Francis and Germaine Yvonne (Vandale) Falcone Sr. He attended Norwich Free Academy class of 1951. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran in the radio operator division, serving from 1952-1956. Mr. Falcone was employed by General Dynamics as a Chief Test Engineer for 34 years. He is survived by a son, Bruce W. Falcone of Mystic, his daughters Megan A. Falcone of Mystic, and Candace V. Morell and her husband Glenn Morell of Hampton, a sister Dale Falcone Gagliardo of Groton Long Point. He also leaves his grandchildren Justin Falcone of Mystic, and Kaya and Jack Morell of Hampton, as well as a nephew William B. Falcone and his wife Katherine and their two children Amy and Alden of Noank, and a niece Janice Gagliardo of Tarrytown N.Y. A Graveside Service with military honors will be held Friday June 21, 2013 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Cemetery 815 Boswell Ave. Norwich.
