She was born on September 21, 1972 at the Backus Hospital. Jenny attended Thomas W. Mahan School in a class for children with special needs and then graduated from Teachers' Memorial School in Norwich in 1993.
After graduation, she started working for Seabird Enterprises as a baker. She loved her job at the Victorian House Restaurant in Plainfield, CT, baking Morning Glory muffins and her special bread pudding. She also liked working as a hostess and handing out menus to the patrons as they walked in.
Jen enjoyed vacationing at Camp Hemlocks at Amston lake for two weeks in the summer.
Jennifer is survived by her parents, Lester and Susan Smith, of Plainfield, CT, a brother, Jason Smith, of Georgia, a sister, Erica Saucier (Kevin), of Dudley, MA, two nieces, Micayla Boots and Cadance Smith, and two nephews Matthew Boots and Chase Smith.
She is predeceased by her loving grandparents, Olive and Arthur Smith, and Ellis and Irene Gagnon.
The family will hold a private memorial service.
