Julia was born February 7, 1926 in Bortkow, Poland, the daughter of the late Jozef and Anna (Boruch) Wezner.
She married Kazimierz B. Serwinski September 21, 1947.
Taken away from her family at the age of 14 by the German Army, Julia was forced to work on German Farms until the end of World War II. With the help of the family already here, she came to America with her husband and children in 1967.
She was employed by John Meyer Company from 1969 to 1974 and then by Eagle Pitcher Industries from 1974 until her retirement in 1988.
Babci’s love for the family was unending. She looked forward to Sunday’s dinner with anticipation as to who was going to come. Her very strong faith has helped her to endure many painful events in her unselfish, well lived life.
She is survived by her daughter Donna Sebastian and her husband Kenneth, sons Richard Serwinski and his wife Helena and Joseph and his wife Kristine and daughter-in-law Cindi Serwinski, six grandsons Steven Komorowski, David and Michele Komorowski, Paul and Iwona Serwinski, Adam and Monika Serwinski, Jacob Serwinski and Luke and Gabriel Serwinski, six great grandchildren Maja, Tomek. Karolinka, Hailey, Sabina and Daniel. She also leaves her sister-in-law Bernadette Wezner.
In addition to her husband and parents, Julia was predeceased by her son James Serwinski on February 16, 2017 and grandson James (Jay) Serwinski May 29, 2011. She was also predeceased by her brother Karl Wezner, sisters Maria Siemek, Sophia Borusowski and by other siblings in Poland.
