Linda Ackerman

Linda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She demonstrated an amazing unconditional love for her husband, her son and daughter, her three grandchildren and her brother. Linda had a very special relationship with her eldest grandchild, Chantz. She made sure he was able to enjoy a variety of sports and other activities.

Linda was born and raised in Norwich.

Linda was a very caring and generous person who never failed to help others. She had spent a number of years working as both a job coach for Southeastern and also helping to care for the ladies in the Johnson Home. She loved to experience new places, restaurants, and shopping. She also enjoyed places near the shore.

She will be missed tremendously. She is survived by her husband Robert Ackerman, her daughter Holly Ackerman, her son Jason Ackerman and his companion Mikayla Distosio, her grandchildren Chantz, Charlotte and Cole Kennedy, her brother Michael Goor and many extended family and friends.
