Aunt Marie, you've taught me many things through out the years, your delicious recipes, how to crochet those beautiful blankets that I would always start then bring them to you to finish. Especially when it came to Taylor, there was nothing she was without because of your big giving & loving heart. I wasn't ready to say goodbye, I will always remember the words the priest spoke at your service "even though you're gone, you still have work to do" I believe that to be true. I'm sure the angels brought you to a better place where there would be no more pain or suffering. May you Rest in Peace with God, be reunited with Uncle John, your mom, dad & 2 brothers. Marie you will be sorely missed.  Over the past 25 years I learned so much from you about life, about cooking, about gardening, and countless other things about your life in Sicily.  I will miss your stories about life during Mussilini's reign in Sicily and your "Sound of Music" wedding with the nuns.  Life will not be the same without you.  Thank goodness you shared your Zinnia seeds, your flowers will continue to proliferate and I will always have them as a fond memory of you. I always enjoyed listening to Aunt Marie's stories and eating her delicious food.  She always lit up when she saw children.  She was a spunky, generous and funny person.  My condolences to all her family and friends. May she rest in peace.

Many, many years ago I worked with Maria at Central Shoe in Norwich.  She was a very special person with a kind, bubbly personality.  Always had something good and uplifting to say.  I can't imagine this world without Maria.  My condolences to her family and friends.

Maria was a loving,wonderful giving person. She was always ready to help family and neighbors. Her family should be very proud to have her as a sister.she will be terrible missed by all who knew her

I'm very sad to hear about Aunt Marie. I will miss her a lot but will cherish the time I got to spend with her. We had fun making meatballs and fried dough together, although I doubt I will ever get it exactly right. Condolences to her family, I know they will miss her very much.

It has been almost 57 years since I last saw you, Maria. But I remember you fondly. RIP!

I am so sorry to learn of the passing of Maria. She was a close friend of my Aunt Adaline Viadella Jacaruso and was always at all of our family functions. Maria was always kind and loving to me .She always had great stories and was full of fun and joy. I bid her farewell with deep sorrow but I imagine her joy at now being reunited with her loved ones in the afterlife.
