Lisbon-Paul Vachon, age 81, passed away on April 22, 2023 at William W. Backus Hospital in Norwich. He was born on December 16, 1941 in Norwich to the late Napoleon and Jennie (Snurkowski) Vachon. He married Lynne (Bausch) Vachon. She survives him.
Paul was a veteran on the U.S. Marine Corps. He retired from the U.S. Post Office.
Besides his loving wife, he leaves behind a grandson Saul Meraz Jr. and his wife Felicia of Norwich, a brother David Vachon of Texas, a sister Marilyn Richardson of New London and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a daughter Susan Vachon and three sisters.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at Preston City Cemetery with full military honors.
