Richard P Chenette

Born in Norwich to the late Henry and Catherine Huntley Chenette on July 9, 1935.

He graduated from Norwich Free Academy where he met his beloved wife Mary Levanto Chenette who survives him.

Richard worked for the City of Norwich, Department of Public Utilities in the Gas department for many years before opening his own business, Curry Copy Center in downtown Norwich.

Besides his wife he is survived by his children Michael and his wife Donna of Preston, David and is wife Renee' of Griswold and Donna and her wife Patti of Branford.

One granddaughter, Nicole Chenette of St. Augustine, FL.

Richard is also survived by his siblings Henry and his wife Patricia, Ronald and his wife Susan and Beverly Embry and husband Charlie.

Calling hours will take place from 5:00-8:00pm on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at the Labenski Funeral Home 107 Boswell Ave. Norwich.

A mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary's Church 30 N. Main St. Jewett City at 11:00am on Friday, July 22, 2022

Burial will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations in the honor of Richard may be made to the American Heart Association
