William Billy Sandberg

He is survived by his mother Sandra Sandberg, sisters Kimberly Sandberg, Mindy Sandberg, Hilary Sandberg and Katie Sandberg, and grandmother Helen Woolley all of Norwich. He also leaves behind a father Joseph Sandberg of Montville, an uncle and aunt Allan and Kathy Bruckner and cousins Rebecca and Christopher Bruckner of Ledyard as well as other aunts, uncles, cousins and “1,000” friends.

For over the past 10 years he has been employed by Luther Fence out of Groton. Outside of work he enjoyed outdoor activities especially golf in which he participated in many charitable events. He loved spending time with his many friends. He was a friendly outgoing person who was always good for a crazy story, sarcastic comment or good laugh. He will be dearly missed by all.

Family and friends may visit Church and Allen Funeral Home, 136 Sachem St., Norwich on Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. A funeral home service will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. Burial will immediately follow at Maplewood Cemetery.
