Barbara A. Grover

Barbara A. Grover, 89, of East Pharsalia passed away on January 3, 2026. She was born in Norwich to the late Edward L. and Helen E. Baxter. Barbara is survived by her husband of 72 years, Arthur Grover; her children, James and Barbara Grover, Scott and Cindy Grover, and Tom and Christine Grover; her grandchildren, Ryan and Sarah Grover, Cassie and Marty Cox, Courtney Grover, Jason Grover and Ashley Mudge, Brandon MacLaury, Ashley Grover, and Kristi and Keith Crowley; her great-grandchildren, Dalton Grover, Payton Grover, Gracin Grover, Delaney Grover, Briar Cox, Lily Cox, Cooper Thorpe, Aloric Crowley, Alyson Crowley, and Alaina Crowley; her brothers, Lynn “Eddie” Baxter, and Kenneth and Penny Baxter; her sister, Mary and Claude Christian; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Barbara spent her life in the Norwich area, graduating from Norwich High School. She worked in the cafeteria at Norwich Central School, retiring in 1998 after many years of service. She was an avid fan of NASCAR as well as a longtime member of the Pharsalia Women’s Auxiliary. Most of all, she will be remembered as a great wife, mother and grandmother.

A celebration of Barbara’s life will take place in the spring and she will be laid to rest at East Pharsalia Cemetery.
