Beverly A. Jones

Bev was born in Galen, NY on April 3, 1954 the daughter of Walter and Mildred (Whitcomb) Shepard. She lived most of her life in the Sherburne- Smyrna areas and was a graduate of the Sherburne-Earlville Central School. She had formerly worked at the Great American Store in Sherburne and for the past 6 years worked as a Teachers-Aide in the Hamilton School district.

On October 6, 1972 in Norwich she married Eugene Jones who passed away July 23, 2007.

Bev is survived by her daughter Sandra (Joshua) Neuenschwander of Hamilton, her son Michael (Terri) Jones of Sherburne and her grandchildren Emily Neuenschwander, Levi Neuenschwander and Caleb Neuenschwander. Also surviving are her siblings Eileen VanGordan of OR, half -sisters Nancy Smith of Mass. and Linda (Rudy) Rinas of Canandaigua.

Besides her husband Eugene, Bev was predeceased by a brother Meldon Shepard.

Friends and family may call at the Amazing Grace Baptist Church in Oriskany Falls on Saturday, October 2, from 2-4 pm followed by a funeral service at 4:00 pm. Pastor Clarence Hafelin will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in the Willcox Cemetery.
