Clarence B. Franklin, 75, of Norwich, passed away on December 8, 2021. Clarence was born in Norwich and spent his life here. He served his country in the US Army from 1970-1972 and upon his honorable discharge, he returned to Norwich and worked as a press operator for The Evening Sun for many years. He was a member of Norwich VFW Post 2782, serving as commander for many years. He was also a member of the Norwich American Legion Post 189. Clarence loved to talk on his CB radio using the handle, Inkman.
Survivors include his sons, Timothy Franklin and Lynnette White; Carl Franklin and Lynne Zutter; his daughter, Jamie Franklin and Chris Burtless; his grandchildren, Amber Franklin, Jessica Sincerbeaux, and Brock Sincerbeaux.
Calling hours for Clarence will take place on Thursday, December 16, at R.J. Fahy Funeral Home, 116 N. Broad St. Norwich, from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm
