Ethel MacLaury

Ethel J. MacLaury, 80, of Norwich, passed away on September2, 2024. She was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Ronald. Survivors include her daughters, Sue and Rick Alger, Diane and Ren Parsons, and Ruth and Joe Manwarren; her grandchildren, Paul and Apryle Parsons, Timothy Parsons, Derek and Katie Manwarren, Michael Manwarren, Ashley Parsons, Erika Berry, and Allyson Manwarren; her step-grandchildren, Kristin and Adam Smith, and Eric and Kaitlyn Alger; her great-grandchildren, Elaina Manwarren, Maverick Parsons, and Blaire Parsons; her step-greatgrandchildren, Connor Alger, Caleb Smith, Cole Alger, and Jayce Smith; her sister in law, Pauline MacLaury; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins as well as her bird, Pretty Boy.

Ethel was a person who loved to travel, enjoying many trips to the Pennsylvania Amish Country, Branson Missouri, Graceland, and especially her trip to Alaska, she loved to read in her spare time and attend Bible Study every Sunday.

A funeral service will take place at 11:00am on Tuesday, September 10, at R.J. Fahy Funeral Home, 116 N. Broad St. Norwich, burial will follow at McDonough Village Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00-7:00pm.
