Grace Y Sharpe

Grace was born in Norwich on Aug. 20, 1943 the daughter of Cony and Nancy (Spinella) Yacano. She attended the Norwich Schools from which she graduated in 1961. Grace was employed as an Administrative Asst. for Procter & Gamble for 20 plus years.

Grace was a loving, caring aunt, sister and friend. Her kind nature will always be remembered.

Grace is survived by her sister Mary Ann London of Norwich, her brothers Joseph Yacano and wife Rose Ellen of Stuart, FL and Angelo (Babe) Yacano and wife Janice of Norwich. Also surviving are her nieces and nephews Joanne DeBello and husband Ben, Carolyn Dennett and husband Matt, Joseph Yacano and wife Rebecca, Karen Dague and husband Garrett, James Yacano and wife Tamara, Mark Yacano and wife Dawn and Connie Wasson and husband Joseph. Several great nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Grace will be held on Thursday, May 29, at 10:30 am from the Chapel of St. Paul’s Cemetery. The Rev. Ralph A. Bove will officate.

Interment will be at St. Paul’s Cemetery.

There will be no calling hours.
