Joan L Leech

Joan L. Leech, 76, of Norwich, passed away on February 16, 2023. She was born in Norwich to the late Howard and Margaret Brazee. She was also predeceased by her husband, Edward J. Leech; her son, Henry Leech; and her grandsons, Damien Leech, Gunner Leech, and Henry Brown; her sisters, Beulah Parker, June Angle, and Agnes Manwarren; along with her brother, Vance Brazee. Survivors include her daughter, Irene Leech; her son, David and Jane Brown; her grandchildren, Holly palmer and Tony Oleskefski, Stephanie Palmer and Ethan Kenyon, Corey Palmer and Aysha Miles, Kevin Brown and Annie Wheat, Eric and Heather Brown, and Joshua and Melissa Brown; 13 great-grandchildren; her sister, Margaret Schoner; her brother, Howard Brazee; her step-brother, Bernard Brazee; several nieces and nephews; as well as her special neice, Missy.

Joan loved spending time with her family, going out to eat, visiting the casino, dancing and especially listening to her grandchildren sing. In her earlier years, Joan worked for Victory markets as well as Gillette Shows, where she discovered her love for fried dough.

At this time, there will be no formal services for Joan, she will be laid to rest at Butternut Valley Cemetery alongside her husband, Edward.
