Growing up in Hancock Aunt Joyce lived up "Snake Creek Rd" and as a small boy Aunt Joyce would take me hunting, finding frogs, lizards and collecting "Lucky Stones".   When I was about 8 or 9 Aunt Joyce went to work at Bendix in Sidney and every Friday night she would come to our house on Bear Brook in Hancock.  She would bring the latest 45 rpm record and we would make popcorn and try the latest dances (twist, limbo) she also taught me how to polka.  

I love all my fond memories of Aunt Joyce she was a special person and I will miss her dearly.  Love you Aunt Joyce; always will.

“Aunt Joyce”  was my mother’s sister. She was also the youngest of 11 children and the last surviving child of John and Gladys Jenson who resided in Cadosia NY.  You would never know that she was the youngest as she seemed to be the “mother hen”  in the Jenson family. As time marched on and her siblings started to pass away she would be the one who would comfort them in their final days. That was the kind of person she was, always giving of herself and never expecting anything in return. As her illness progressed she never said “why me”. She always greeted me with a smile and we would travel back in time to when she was a little girl and fast forward to when I was little and fast forward again to when her son was little and on to her grandchildren. These precious memories I will cherish forever. I will love you forever Aunt Joyce  RIP ❤️

Joyce grew up with my mother in Cadosia. She moved to Unadilla a few miles from my parents, where she resided with her husband and son for many years.  Joyce was always a sweet, pleasant woman.   She was very proud of her son and grandchildren and spoke of them often.  Rest in Peace Joyce.  You will be dearly missed.
