Larry grew up in Otselic and graduated from South Otselic School. He made his career as a cook with Chenango County Area Agency on Aging, retiring after many years of service.
Along with his parents, Larry was predeceased by his brother, Wayne Nelson Stone; and his nephew, Brian Stone.
Survivors include his sister in law, Audrey Stone, of Sherburne; his nieces and nephews, Timothy Calvert, of Plymouth, Linda Sue Stone, of Norwich, Richard Stone, of Plymouth, Brent and Vicki Stone, of South Plymouth, Timothy and Becky Marvin, of Smyrna, Irad and Melissa Marvin, of Pharsalia, and John Marvin, Sr., of South Plymouth; along with several great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.
At Larry’s request, there will be no formal funeral services. He will be laid to rest at Maple Grove Cemetery in South Otselic.
